A mentor and his student walk into a bar…
And it kinda hurt. Lame, I know.
Seriously though, I’m so excited to welcome the great Rob Scott to the show this week. He’s a mentor and good friend of mine! Rob has provided a lot of the support and coaching I needed to get my men’s coaching off the ground.
So enough about how I know him, who is Rob? Well, he’s someone with a dark past (which always seems to be a recipe for a bright future in the right hands). I won’t spoil it here, so all you need to know is that he spent much of his life totally lost.
And yet he’s here today to be a beacon for others, and to answer the question “How can we feel whole?” Wholeness was something that he searched for, for a very long time. He mastered his life through mindfulness, mending his fragile emotions, and healing his mental health.
In this interview we’re going to go deep into his story, why mindfulness is the key to living a pleasurable life, and why we need to block distractions to adapt and make the most of our lives.
In this episode you’ll learn about…
- Where Rob came from. (2:49)
- Identity shifting. (17:13)
- How we’re choosing to behave and invest our time. (31:50)
- Unable to choose vs selecting your life’s purpose. (44:38)
- Personally dealing with COVID-19. (54:15)
- Do the one thing that is currently in front of you! (1:03:55)
