Exploring Modern Manhood with Cleo Stiller

by Jul 27, 2020

How has #MeToo changed manhood for the future?

Cleo Stiller is a journalist and writer who’s become an expert on the tricky topic of sexuality. She originally hosted a show for Fusion, called “Sex.Right.Now.” After the show finished airing, and the #MeToo movement gained the national spotlight, she began to receive questions and stories from both men and women alike. So she began to research how these revelations were impacting the concept of manhood.

And what she found led her to write a book called “Modern Manhood.” In it she chronicles the stories of men she’s interviewed across the country who have begun to take this journey of asking “What is a man, really?”

To the men I mentor and coach, we see manhood as passionate responsibility, action, and intentionality. We use our status as men to positively impact the lives of the people around us. Both Cleo and I believe that men everywhere need to discover why they do what they do, and how to leave behind their old mindsets.

Getting the chance to sit down with Cleo and dig into what makes men tick, and figuring out where to go from here was a real treat. I hope you’ll take the time to listen to this amazing interview with her!
