Supporting others, integrity, and the path forward.
With three degrees, a glowing career as a member of the Marine Corps., and pretty much anything he could ever ask for, Steve sees life differently. Rather than letting his life go to his head he remains grounded, because even now, his mission is to do valuable work for others and support them.
In fact, you can hear it in the way he talks. His cadence, tone, and overall delivery is measured, compassionate, and authoritative—Steve knows what he’s talking about, yet he’s willing to meet people where they’re at.
And because he’s a consultant who serves teams and individuals looking for the tools they need to succeed, he had a lot to share in this episode.
One of the words that continually came up in our conversation was integrity. For him, it’s not just a matter of following through, it’s about doubling down on action and being above reproach. As men, our word should never be in question, and we can accomplish this by setting a north star; something that’s visible to us and drives us to action.
The beauty of having a north star is that it guides when the journey feels long, or when a rough patch slows us down. If you want to learn how to develop your north star, you’ll want to listen to this interview with Steve Crawford!
